The faculty are very approachable, you can literally go out on trips with them. Contact them at any time of the day, they'd respond... They are very friendly. Talking about exams our course doesn't have a lot of written exams except in the first year that too around 2 written exams we'll have.

Everybody definitely knows their subjects and have abundance of knowledge about the course but few of them do not know how to teach. Like they know what they are talking about but fail to make the students understand it.

The faculty of MIC is one of the best faculty for the courses available in the institution such as Media and Communication and Animation and BVoc, out there. Truly, the faculty are one of the best in the game or the industry. The institute and the faculty also set up various talks with renowned people in the industry for the students to get an opportunity to learn more about their course and make informed career choices and decisions first-hand. The faculty is very open-minded as to how they clear every student's doubts and make space for the student to be comfortable with them which makes for it to be a great learning experience. Every student is appointed with a particular mentor who is a faculty member so that the student can talk openly and confide in them if they have any issues with anything in the college. The faculty makes time for the students to interact with them and makes them comfortable to approach them in case of any mishap.

They are too caring and serious about students character and career,and they try their level best to complete the course and then try to interpret with entrance questions,they are very regular towards class attendance

In my faculty is very good and teach and very supportive,interactive with the students. Faculty is giving inspirational motives and get your goodness and they teach equally in all students. Faculty is giving good information to all students.

The faculty in our college are highly qualified. Many PHD holders in our college. They do an excellent job to provide for the college. The subjects are taught with utmost care and interest that makes students to learn more as well

Some of the faculty are students of the institute itself who have worked in the industry but decided to return to their roots. They are experienced in their subjects but sometimes have to take up multiple subjects for teaching.

Faculty overall was quite good. I would give a ratio of 70:30 comparing heavily experienced to inexperienced professors. But that is the case in almost all colleges and not just Manipal. Faculty was open to talking most of the times outside lecture hours but the 30 in the ratio I provided often was a little hesitant. The other group was really happy to help and appreciated us for approaching them for doubts or anything.Also, the ones who really knew their matter well went the distance to improve the way they teach. For example, in classes for Public Relations and Film, they'd draw out examples from real life instances and formulate teaching.The overall teaching quality has to be pumped up a little. More experienced faculty should come in.
