IGRUA conducts its own entrance exam for CPL and AME admission. The online written test covers Physics, Mathematics, English, General Awareness, and Reasoning. CPL candidates additionally take a Pilot Aptitude Test. The 2026 exam was held on May 3, 2026. The next cycle is expected in February to April 2027.

What is the minimum eligibility for IGRUA CPL admission?

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English. Minimum 50% aggregate is required for General/EWS candidates. SC/ST/OBC candidates need min 45%. Candidates must also be unmarried and hold a valid DGCA Class I Medical Certificate.

What is the age limit for IGRUA CPL admission?

The maximum age at the time of application is 28 years for General category candidates. OBC candidates can be up to 31 years. SC/ST candidates can be up to 33 years. The minimum age for both CPL and AME programmes is 17 years.

IGRUA offers 125 seats for the Ab-initio to CPL programme and 30 seats for the Integrated AME and B.Sc Aircraft Maintenance Engineering programme. The total intake for the 2026 batch is 155 seats.
