Placement is the big issue in this field and in this college. You need to search the job with your own by submitting your resume to different airline carriers. Your seniors can help you with it. As far as OJT is concerned, college can help you with it.
Our college held placements in college for students.
But our college didn't give internship facilities.
In college every year students get job through this placements.
College give scholarships not stipend.
Yes, the college provides an internship where you can work on live aircrafts, such as aircarfts kept in hangers. You will also get placed once you complete enough experience working with live mechanics and systems of the aircraft and must have acquired all the licenses of it.
Placements and jobs are directly applicable on the requirements within the industry. And as we know how much air traffic has increased so getting a job would be easy in this case as too many flights would be flying and every aicraft requires 4-5 engineers to be worked on.
No one got any placement because not a single company came for that. I had to grab a job only by our own. I had to roam in the aviation industry holding my resume in my hand. Some students succeeded to get a position but that too for a very bad salary.
