Admission in our college is strictly on the basis of Merit List. Minimum Eligiblity Criteria is 10+2 Exams. Our college is 1st option among the local students as quality in our college is really very amazing and of top quality.

The college selected students on the basis of their merit. The student should qualify the 12th exams with at least 50%. Me along with other selected students had to attend a counselling session before the beginning of course.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. To get admission in this course, students should have passed their 10 +2 examination from a recognised board. I got admission in this course after qualifying my senior secondary examination with good percentage. The admission process was very simple in our college.

This college offers BCom in different or courses subjects or specialisations that is accountancy Bengali education and English. I opted for Bcom in accountancy as I have scored overall 70% marks but this is only need 50% marks which is minimum criteria and 60% marks scored in my accountancy subject and this college demand 45%.

Rooms are small but also good. not many teachers but active teacher's are good and also help you. Principal mam is very honest and always helped you. College cycle and bike garage is very small but others are best. I am proud to be an a student of budge budge college.
