The prime location of the college opens a lot of accommodation options for the students however the best of them all is the college hostel facility. It costs ?10,500 per year per student. It is very well equipped and safe.

The college has two separate buildings for boys and girls named as Girls hostel and Boys hostel. The warden and the security are very helpful and strictly obey the norms of the hostel. The mess has discipled timings for serving food. The meals are healthy and tasty. Hostel fees are ?10,500/- annually with all the basic needs. The infrastructure is well constructed and maintained.

There was not much time for extracurricular activities, we did attend a few seminars, and went for a field visit. I was in awe of the laboratory, it is fully equipped with the latest technology and testing.

The laboratory is full of the latest and the most sophisticated equipment, a massive upgrade from the ones in regular universities and in line with the ongoing research within and outside the country. The library is well-stacked and we had limited access to it. We also got the chance to participate in a few seminars.

The university full of incidents each and every event is celebrated with lots of hustle and bustle as species learners from different regions are a part of it. There are cultural fests and technical meets where students can show up their ability.

Kanpur caters to students from all over the country and hence there are a lot of accommodation options for a student. I opted for the hostel facility and I've to say that it is very inexpensive as it costs only ?10,500 per year.

our college has established an auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 and Physical containment facility for transgenic plants. The institute has created a state of the art museum depicting pulse technologies developed by the institute. There are so many functions including annual workshops, conferences, foundation day celebration, Hindi diwas, official congregation and other staff welfare functions organised and celebrated.

Our college facility including a well-equipped laboratory for plant biotechnology, molecular breeding laboratory, transgenic containment facility, soil testing laboratory, basic sciences and plant physiological studies. There are also so many other facilities such as library, Reprographic service User education training, auditorium, museum, Physical containment facility for transgenic plants,well-furnished training and communication centre Video conferencing, Environmentally controlled greenhouse, Automatic rainout shelter.
