Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, established in 1960, played a significant role in India's Green Revolution. Placement opportunities are substantial, with an average CTC of 6-8 lakh per annum and the highest package at 18 lakh per annum, mainly in computer engineering. About 60-75% of students secure placements annually with companies like Mahindra, John Deere, and TCS. Internships, although mostly unpaid, are available after the third year through notable companies.
