Many of the students are the question that why should we join this Institute so I'll give the for this question. Battery has two research stations in which the students can research easily. Institute has eminent scientist and they have well trained and experienced team with them. Also provides tanks for storing the different rice growing situations in which the students can store their cultivated rice.

The institute was great in overall. I have had great learning and spent nice time with the rest of students. The infrastructure of the college was reasonable good. The labs and library was well maintained. Every facility was there for students for research work.

Admission:

The admission process depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination. The minimum eligibility for getting admission is 55% of marks in Post graduation from science stream in Agriculture as the main subject. There is 5 percent of relaxation of marks for SC/ST students. Students who cleared their NET/JRF was called for interview which was compulsory for every students. The final selection was based on the interview and on the marks obtained in post graduation.

Remarks:

The central rice research institute is one of the best institute in the city. The institute provides us a lot of facilities like spacious classroom, computer room, laboratory room, cafeteria, common room, playground, Internet facility etc. The environment of our institute is very peaceful. The teaching and non teaching staff are very helpful and supporting.
