Altera Gurgaon ALNAT 2026

The ALNAT is a 120 minute test designed to test you on 4 key skills that help us gauge your potential fit for the PGP in Applied Marketing. The test involves 4 sections. The first 3 sections consist of multiple-choice. The fourth section presents a business case study requiring three key recommendations for a real business/brand scenario. Each question in sections 1-3 carries 4 marks with no negative marking. Section 4 of the business case question is evaluated out of 24 marks based on the quality of actionable recommendation, idea novelty, and short-to-medium-term applicability. Therefore, the total score for the ALNAT exam is 300 marks.

Altera Institute Gurgaon offers postgraduate program in Management. Admission is granted based on National-Level scores, or ALNAT Scores. Altera Gurgaon application fee is INR 1499 for 2026. Given below is Altera Institute Admission Process.

Candidates must note that their pre-application profile comprises 50% of your composite score. This includes, Education background and performance, Quality and depth of work-experience, Positions of responsibility held/internships for freshers, and Entrance Examination Performance.
Application Form: Applicants are shortlisted and invited for the assessment rounds basis the application form. The form captures the Pre-Application profile (section above) along with two essay type questions. The essay type questions are designed to capture the applicant’s career goals and unique strengths and are important to assess mutual fitment. The application form (predominantly the essay questions) has a 10% weight in the composite profile score.
Applicants are shortlisted based on their profile and examination scores and invited for a set of interactions. These interactions should be used to assess mutual fitment for the program. This has a 40% weight in the composite score.
Case Study Round: Applicants are given a short case which has information and data about a business situation. The case has some thought starters and questions which become the start point for a detailed case breakdown with a mentor from Altera Institute.
Personal Interview (Director's Round): Selected applicants get to meet with one of the founders/founding team members to assess behavioral fitment for the program. The conversation revolves around the applicant's past experiences, interests and ambitions.
Offers & Admissions: Selected applicants receive an offer for admission to the PGP in Applied Marketing. Their seat is considered reserved on payment of the admission fee before the deadline.
