IIT Mandi MBA Admission 2024 are based on CAT Score followed by GD/Personal Interviews. For the MBA in AI & Data Science program, the institute is yet to release the dates of the GD/ Personal Interview. 

IIT Mandi MBA aspirants should have completed their UG/PG from a recognized institution with a minimum of 60% of marks (55% of marks for SCSTOBC-NCL/PwD). Applicants must have studied mathematics at the 10+2 level. Students applying from the Non-CFTI category must also have a valid CAT score.

• For the Admission process, a 5-year combined Bachelor's and Master's degree would be regarded as equivalent to a 4-year Bachelor's degree.
• Students who are taking their final degree examination can also apply. In such circumstances, admission will be contingent on meeting the minimum eligibility criteria outlined above at the time of enrollment in the program.

IIT Mandi MBA Selection Criteria

IIT Mandi MBA Program Involves the Following Process in the Selection Process of the Candidates.

• Candidates in category 1 will be shortlisted based on their bachelor's degree performance, prior academic records, and job experience, with proportional weightage. For shortlisting individuals, the school may establish additional and/or higher criteria.
• Candidates in category 2 will be shortlisted based on their CAT score, bachelor's degree performance, previous academic records, and work experience, with proportional weightage. For shortlisting individuals, the school may establish additional and/or higher criteria.
• Foreign National/NRI candidates will be shortlisted based on their GMAT score and/or performance in their bachelor's degree, past academic records, and work experience, all of which will be given sufficient weightage. For shortlisting individuals, the school may establish additional and/or higher criteria.
• The selection committee may decide to conduct an online/in-person interview as part of the subsequent procedure.

IIT Mandi MBA Eligibility Criteria

Category 1 (CFTI):

• Indian nationals with GN/OBC (NCL)/EWS: Minimum 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 65% in a 4-year Bachelor's degree from any of the Centrally Sponsored Technical Institutions (CFTIs). Those candidates are exempt from the CAT requirement.
• Applicants from India who are SC/ST/PWD: Minimum 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 60% in a 4-year Bachelor's degree from any of the Centrally Sponsored Technical Institutions (CFTIs). Those candidates are exempt from the CAT requirement.
• All applicants must have completed a +2 level of Mathematics (or equivalent).
