Wish I would've known this about my college.

Likes

The faculty is very understanding and knowledgeable, they are supportive avout the same.
The college has ac's, so it is adequate diring summers
They conduct events regualry, which a student can take part in, the events are conducted by various clubs which are in the college and are exciting.

Dislikes

The management is not corporative at all, only the teaching staff of the college is nice, the management and the higher authorities of the college aren't supporitive.
There is no ground, all the events are restrcited to the college building, there are no grounds
If you are one minute late to the colleges timing which is 8:45 reporting time and 9:00 am classes time, you are punished, they make you stand outside the college gate for 50 mins, until the second class starts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Avinash college of commerce is Osmania affiliated, and osmanias curriculum is outdated for a lot of subjects, the curriculum is not on par with other universities which are more versatile in providing their students the requirements.

Honest opinion of Avinash college of commerce

Likes

Some of the teachers are good and they explain well
different courses for bcom, bba, CA and CMA as well as ACCA are available

Dislikes

It's just a building so there will be no ground
During lunch or breaks the hallway gets crowded snd they don't let u move to other floor
The computers in the labs are old and they lag too much

Placement Experience:

I am currently in second year fourth sem, so I don't know about the placements but from what I heard the placements starts from third year. Since secunderabad branch is new so no placements have been made yet. But I did see some errors in the list of students who got placements In other Branch. There was a girl who got placed in 3 different companies. I don't how it works but whatever. The average placements is around 2.5 lpa as usual for degree students. From what I heard the ACCA students can get upto 12 lpa. My plans after getting degree is to complete my CA course or start a business any of the two.

Why you should or shouldn't join avinash.

Likes

The college is fitted with air conditioning all over the campus.
The college has a uniform code and it includes blazer and formal shirt pant.
They provide extra courses for job training and also CRT courses

Dislikes

They are very restrictive and hve bouncers around.
The college has no ground or any form of sports.
The faculty are frequently changed and inexperienced.

Placement Experience:

There are placements prvided by our college. They claim to give 98 percent placements but the process is a bit hard. So there are 2 exams of aptitude conducted by college before we can even get in. So after we pass both the exams we will be trained and sent for interviews.
