As an open university it doent have any fixed annual festivals Students are accessible to books and journels available at LSC Classroom facilities are good Sgou allows students to set up fests extracarucular activities etc Student portal from SGOU is their official website and the L desk application which provides every details to the students including their study materials

As it is an a open university cultural programmes are not regularly conducted but students often conduct programmes for onam, christmas and other celebrations. There is a good library available for the students.
