As per the Indian Nursing Council's migration policy, students are permitted to transfer between GNM programs after completing the first year, provided they have passed all subjects of the first year. This applies to transfers between institutions under the same university or regulatory authority. Amritsar College of Nursing is recognized by the Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC) and affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. The college's official website does not mention second-year migration policies; the general guidelines suggest that such transfers are permissible under specific conditions.
