Jio Institute Admission Dates 2027

Admissions for the 2026-27 batch at Jio Institute have concluded. The application deadline for that cycle was January 31, 2026. The 2027-28 batch application window is expected to open in mid-2026. Candidates should register for standardised tests now to be ready for the next cycle.

No management quota or direct admission route exists at Jio Institute. All seats across all three PGP programmes are filled through the merit-based test and interview process.

Jio Institute Courses and Fees

Jio Institute currently offers three one-year Post Graduate Programmes (PGP). All three carry the same total fee. The PGP in Management offers a choice of Marketing or Finance as specialisation tracks.

An application fee of INR 2,500 (non-refundable) and a seat confirmation fee of INR 25,000 apply at different stages of the admission process. Hostel is available at INR 1,15,000 per year. The current PGP class of 2026-27 has 89 students across all programmes.

Jio Institute Admission Process

PGP in Management and PGP in Sports Management

Admission to PGP in Management and PGP in Sports Management follows the same route. Selection is based on a combination of standardised test score, academic record, Statement of Purpose, and personal interview performance. Work experience strengthens the profile but is not mandatory.

• Eligibility: Any undergraduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate. Final-year students may apply provisionally.
• Entrance: Valid CAT, GMAT, or GRE score. Candidates without a qualifying score may appear for the Jio Institute Entrance Test (JET).
• Selection stages: Application review, shortlisting on test score and profile, personal interview, final offer.
• No interview waiver exists. All shortlisted candidates must complete the personal interview.

PGP in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

The AI and Data Science programme requires a strong quantitative foundation. This is the only programme where GATE is an additionally accepted exam alongside CAT, GMAT, and GRE.

• Eligibility: 4-year degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Statistics with minimum 50% marks.
• Entrance: Valid GATE, CAT, GRE, or GMAT score. JET is accepted if no qualifying score is available.
• Strong background in Mathematics, Statistics, and programming is essential for the programme. The selection panel weights technical proficiency in the interview.
