Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology / Mathematics /Biotechnology / Computer Science separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics/Biotechnology/Computer Science put together are eligible. Candidate from National Open School are not eligible to apply for the course.

A candidate who has passed the higher secondary examination of the Kerala state with physics, chemistry and biology/mathematics as optional subject and equivalent are eligible to apply.V.H.S.C. Of Kerala from 1994-1995 session with a group A and B only are considered as equivalent examination for admission to D.Pharm course. Group A: NCERT Syllabus in physics. Chemistry and mathematics Group B: NCERT syllabus in physics. Chemistry and Biology.
