Great College for pursuing MBBS

Likes

The infrastructure is top notch like library, gym, mess
Patient exposure is also above average so good learning opportunities
Hostels are one of the best having toilets in each room

Dislikes

Overall land area is less and congested. All departments are given 1/2 floor
No playground for cricket or football, only volleyball court is present
No clubs or groups to encourage extra curricular activities

Internship is part of the course and compalsary which is for 1 year and roles offered is "intern" and teaches all the practical aspect. Stipened varies according to the muhs and is between 15-25 k No such projects or task just have to help the senior doctors and learn

GMC Baramati - exceptional college

Likes

It has very good infrastructure and the hostel rooms are in a very good condition providing attached balcony and washroom bathroom seprately
The mess food is also the best in all over maharashtra if we conpare to other colleges
There is an overall too much trees and gardens which are also well maintained

Dislikes

Connectivity is poor it takes 3 hour to reach pune
Very low patient load but it is increasing day by day
Very less space for games there is only one ground that is for volleyball

Internships Opportunities:

In medical fields there is no such placement like thing once u get an degree u can continue working at same clg or different hospital according to your wish and starting salary is around 90 k per month

GMC Baramati honest review

Likes

Infrastructure is good with lots of space to sit and chill, inspite of smaller campus.
Faculty is one of the best in the state as most of the staff is recruited from Bj. They are well experienced and teach well.
Hospital is not very far from the college so there is no tension for students and internsto go far away for postings

Dislikes

Because of the small campus the college is devoid of grounds for field sports like football or cricket.
The guard staff here is not amiable as they are egoistic and full of arrogance.
Mess(in college campus) food is not very hygienic.

Internships Opportunities:

I have yet to complete my course and receive internship so I can't tell anything about it now. But anyways the college has own hospital associated with it where the interns practice their internship. Colleges also has othe r subcenters and phc's under it.

A thorough review of Government medical College, Baramati

Likes

The infrastructure of college is very good. The college building is very good and also the classrooms are easy ventilated which makes a study time a stressfree work. Also, the libraries are very equipped with books
The hostels are very well made. We have separate toilets and bathrooms in every room. The every floor has separate water cooler and filters. The rooms are very spacious and every room is accommodated with three students and we also have balcony
The teachers are very good in teaching and they have very knowledge of their subject. Although there are only 4 to 5 teachers in every department, we don’t feel any need for Need for any more teachers for doubt clearance

Dislikes

The college campus is not so big, so it is not equipped with sport facilities and ground. We don’t have enough space for football or cricket grounds. There is only one Mess in the hostel which makes it difficult for students for dinner
The hostel Mess food is gross. We find bugs in our food, and the hygiene is not very well maintained, and the Mess coordinator doesn’t listen to our complaints and threatens us not to complain to the dean of the college.
There are no enough stationary or shops in the campus and the college is located in MIDC area, so we have to go very far for basic supplies

Internships Opportunities:

Our hospital has just recently started, so there is no internship available at our hospital, but you can always go for peripheral regions like a primary healthcare centres where you can do your internship. Our seniors also go to other peripheral hospitals for their internship, but it is not friendly process because they work for 89 hours and they also have to travel back to the hostel, so it is not quite good.

Likes

The infrastructure is best in Maharashtra
Whole campus is very safe and it is surrounded by guards
Faculties are very helpful and college and hospital are very close to each other

Dislikes

This college is very limited for sports facilities specially for outdoor games
In college there is not a stationary shops for books pen

Internships Opportunities:

Government of Maharashtra provides internship for students within the college or within the cities as per the availability of hospitals under college. During internship 22 thousand per month stipend is given.
