GMC PALI- one of the best medical college in Rajasthan

Likes

The study and academics is so good here.
College is made in 2018 so infrastructure is also too good.
Campus is enough big for extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

Far from city so lack of direct transport.
Hostels for first year are not too good.
Uniform is followed by first year students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of 4.5 years , following one in year of internship in bangur hospital pali. There are semester exams are held in which all type of questions are asked, therefore papers are little tough.

Likes

People around here are really friendly and senior are supportive
Teachers are very helpful in nature and their teach very efficiently
The campus size is good enough and they provide facilities for sports sports

Dislikes

It is located away from the city and transport is very less
College does not provide bus two are batch which is really wrong
Shortage of faculty is there and sports equipment is not present

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is really waste and they covered every part of the medical field covering all the 19 subjects and their applications are really important in this medical field as we go in the hospitals and performer duties towards the patients and exams are conducted in every 3 months and in between those the organised pct test too

Gmc pali

Likes

Regularity in classes and group projects,seminars,assignments.
Campus is fine ,size is pretty good , new hospital building work in progress

Dislikes

Power cut , water shortage , extremely unorganised system for basic needs.
Campus is 8 km away from the main city ,isolated

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum has changed over time from book learning to practical learning so now it is more about visiting the hospital , seeing real patients , understanding how we would work in such an environment , how we have to communicate so it's pretty good if we visit the clinic daily as recommended , we are also taught about empathy , ethics . The only issue is the monotonous nature of the way the whole country studies ....very theoretical but it's the same in mostly all the colleges

Brief review of GMC pali

Likes

Great faculty experience teacher, they are very concerned with studies
Great infrastructure of college with library built in all departments are well painted and have great infrastructure
Sports facilities are good with various ground and sport complex present inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum will be accordingly to the nmc guidelines which will be provided by nmc itself. There are 4 semester paper per year including 3 internal assessment paper and one university paper. The frequency of paper is about every 2-3 months

There is everything to be liked, the college the faculty and the hospital

Dislikes

Everything was great as being selected in a government college is itself a great matter of privilege

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not tough but it is very very vast and you cannot finish your course unless you do atleast 5 hours of self study everyday after college hours but trust me it's totally worth it in the end for everyone be it you as a doctor or your patients

New building and better infrastructure provides better residing opportunities
Best faculty is present which is essential for study

Dislikes

Harsh weather conditions which is mainly climatic factor
Water cut offs during high peak summer weather.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements in general are internships which are compulsory for everyone. After that hospital duties occur in which welearn from highly qualified medical professionals. This is a 5.5 year review.

Faculty is amazing. Highly qualified doctors teaching in class providing extra clinical knowledge.
Newly built infrastructure, the building and hostels are new.

Dislikes

Harsh weather conditions. Extreme summers.
Water shortage occurs in extreme summers
