The course is taught by a faculty that largely consists of visiting professionals who are knowledgeable and polite. However, sometimes due to staff shortages, the same faculty members teach multiple subjects across all four years. The faculty is responsive to student queries and provides a good introduction to subjects, although the student-to-faculty ratio is quite high at 1:120. Exams are generally easy, with many students passing after studying for just a few days.
The fee structure varies significantly: general category students pay about Rs 25,000 annually, totaling Rs 1 lakh for the entire B.Tech course. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) students pay less than Rs 7,500 annually, while students from backward classes such as SC, ST, and VJNT can complete the course for under Rs 5,000. The college effectively communicates information about available state scholarship programs and how to apply for them.
