Placement Experience:

After the 8th Semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies like Lenscart, Himalaya and visit. 99 per cent of students get placement. My plans after getting this degree is to do masters in Optometry

The campus not too big , it could be more big

Placement Experience:

After 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Lenskart, Titan many more companies visits our college with number of offers for students. Starting price of package is from 25000 and it increases with time.

Best optometry college ever

Classes, practical classes, good learning environment, Discipline
Play ground, clinical attachment, patient handling

Dislikes

One to one instrument handling, difficult instrument availability
Timming schedule, very early college time

Placement Experience:

After the 8th-semester students are eligible for placement. Zeiss, Lenskart, Sankara Netralaya, Netralaya, Titan eye plus, GKB optical, Dr. Agarwal eye hospital, Susrut eye foundation, Disha eye hospital, LVPEI.

Faculty members, cultural programmes, practical laboratory
Guest lecturers are also welcomed at most

Dislikes

Campus could have been a little spread up.
Fooding and lodging is absent , leading to problems.

Placement Experience:

Paid Internship is being offered to various reputed hospitals like LVPEI and SankarNetralaya, PM Birla. The average package offered at hospitals is around 25 thousand and more. Most of the students about 90 per cent are interested in doing an internship is being provided.

Good for student of Bengal but may be hard for outsiders

Likes

I like that teacher are supporting and friendly
No pressure in paying fees urgently and you can pay as per your availability

Dislikes

Language barrier,as i am outside of Bengal so there is a lot of problems initially,the teachers teach only in Bangla
No extra curricular activities,no canteen ,no ground

Placement Experience:

Placements are good with the package of 2 lac per year. Companies like Lenskart, and Zeiss come for placement. I am planning to do a job in the hospital sector rather than in companies like titan or Lenskart. One can go to titan Lenskart or Himalaya in sells department or in the treatment department.

The quality of the study material of the course
Digital classroom and the atmosphere of the college

The placement facilities of the Vidyasagar College of Optometry and Vision Science is really the best among all of the Optometry college in India. Placement is 100 percent sure in our college. In the case of placements among all colleges, our college is the best in the segment.
