The Reality of My Online BBA at Manipal

CONVENIENCE- So basically you can choose the time and day you want to give exams and also study according to your pace. There are live lectures, pre-recorded sessions, e-tutorials and e-books. Evrything is online and you can study at convinience
TIME SAVING - if you are someone like me who is busy doing some job or other type of education this is literally the best way to do your degree. The study material is easy to understand (difficulty level is maintained though) and saves so much time
TRAVEL FREE- you don't have to travel hours just to reach college. It's online and you can attend lectures, give exams everything at the comfort of your home. Personally I live far for from Mumbai so this was a really good decision to study online

Dislikes

LIVE LECTURES - the live lectures give you very summarised knowledge of the subject and not that detailed so sometimes it becomes difficult to read e-content by yourself and figure out things.
EXAM REQUIREMENTS - you need laptop, webcame, mic evrything for exams and the examination software is extremely strict. I had to install a light right in front of face so that it understands I am looking into camera. the light hurts so much
FEES- I think it's little too costly than local colleges nearby but also justified at the same time

Placement Experience:

From the information given, placements generally happen after you pass and clear all your size semesters. I am not very much aware about the companies but according to my friends manipal has top companies in their placement opportunities. Highest package would be arround 15,00,000 lacks per annum from what I found out from friends but personally I did not see anything about it on the official website. My plans after degree are pursuing masters and not go for placements.

My Experience of a Online Bachelor's Degree at Manipal Jaipur

Likes

The learning portal is designing very well.
The faculty is always there for you if need any assistance.
The ease of doing assignments and uploading them.

Dislikes

Honestly didnt liked the online exam pattern
The fees could have been more affordable
There is a lot of students in one batch.

Placement Experience:

We do have college placements. But we have a lot of students and its not possible to get them all placed also the package offered is very average. I wont be sitting for placement rather i will plan to do my master in offline format . Also its true that online degrees are not as valuable as a regular one.

Likes

The Faculty here is well trained with phd and masters degree in the particular domain.
The learning portal of the Manipal University Jaipur Online is very easy to use and good.
The query resolving system is very fast, they immediately replies to our problems.

Dislikes

One thing I dislike is the placement process which is very lengthy.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semesters, the placement process begins. Many fortune 500 companies recruits from Manipal University Jaipur Online. The highest and average package is not yet disclosed officially so I dont know about that. My plans after degree is to get job from Manipal Online or search it on my own.

My experience at MUJ

Likes

Learning portal with Good UI and easy to navigate
Helpdesk which is easy accessibility and 1on mentoring by Mentor
Video lectures which are easy to understand

Dislikes

Unfriendly mobile application which is too slow
They change the deadline of the assignment 3 days after the deadline which doesn't make any sense
Some teachers are too fast and don't respond to chat box

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachings of live classes are good but for some subjects the LMS content is too old or outdated like for example computer fundamentals. Apart from that they conduct weekly webinars which are related to BBA which is real time news.

In online college we're flexible, we can manage time for our studies according to our flexibility.
Teachers in manipal university are professional and are very well trained, and help in approving our queries
Here, you can found all your study material in your LMS , which is encrypted only you had a access of it. You will get assigned with one of the best mentor that is going to help you through out your journey in college.

Dislikes

Here, you cant get a industrial experience as it is online degree. You can't get much experience of subject you're learning.
And, here also attendance don't matter, you're are allowed to give your exam even after not attending a single classes.
And, here interaction between teacher and student is quite less, because our mic and video is by default off from university side, you are only allowed to ask your query through typing in message box.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The study curriculum of my course BBA is very fantastic and subject are very helpful in transforming us to became a good personality. And the teching curriculum of manipal is modern. And all subjects we're learning here is with real life experience not only the way traditional methods here you can all learn about best subject and methods in developing yourself and your firm.
