 Candidate for admission to the First year Diploma course will be required to have passed in SSLC Examination of the Board of Secondary Education in Tamilnadu. (or) The Matriculation Examination of Tamilnadu. (or) Any other Examination recognized as equivalent to the SSLC Examination by the Board of Secondary Education, Tamilnadu.

 Candidate for admission to the First year Diploma course will be required to have passed in SSLC Examination of the Board of Secondary Education in Tamilnadu. (or) The Matriculation Examination of Tamilnadu. Candidates for admission to the Second year ( Lateral Entry) Diploma course will be required to have passed in the HSC-Academic with Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Science / HSC- Vocational in Engineering Trades.
