The Director of Technical Education issues a notification, approximately in the first week of June, regarding the starting of the admission procedure online.

The certificate includes Hall Ticket, Aadhar Card, Rank, HSC Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Bonafide Certificate, Caste Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Sports Quota Certificate.

The students will be provided with a receipt of certificate verification at the help center, which they will need at the time of admission.

After the certificate verification, all the students will be provided with a blank option form and a list of all the polytechnics and the types of courses with their respective subjects. After the process, the candidates are requested to fill those preferences into the web and take a printout of those choices.

Based on the preferences, seats will be allotted to all those students according to their merit list and the caste categorization. The allotment sheet would be notified on the web, and the students need to take the print out of the allotment order provided on the website.

After downloading the allotment order, students need to pay the fees in any of the designated banks and get a receipt. Those students need to reach their respective polytechnic colleges with the allotment order and the desired fees receipt on or before the provided date.
