Admissions for Diploma Courses in Government Polytechnic College, Anantapur is through a state-level exam AP POLYCET and based on the rank obtained in the same exam.

- Dining Hall: - The facility of the dining hall is provided to both the girl's and boys' hostel both with a capacity of 75 students. The food prepared in the Dining Hall is prepared with utmost hygiene and cleanliness.
