The college offers a diverse and comprehensive faculty structure with a notable faculty-to-student ratio. The history faculty is highly praised, with specific commendation for Neena Shukla. The science faculty is noted for being knowledgeable but perceived as rude during practical sessions. The commerce faculty, led by Dr. Anand Kumar, is considered the best, providing excellent results and maintaining a strong student-teacher relationship.
Exams are primarily annual, with some semester-based assessments, and the marking scheme requires precise and efficient answers. BSc exams, especially in mathematics and physics, are challenging, with only 35% passing in the first year. While the faculty is generally cooperative and experienced, there is a preference for Hindi medium instruction, which may pose challenges for some students.
