MOSC Institute of Allied Health Sciences (MOSCIAHS) was formally consecrated as a hospital on 14th September 1970 with 100 beds and it has been growing steadily over the years into a multi-specialty; 1100 mbedded Super specialty tertiary care Medical College Hospital. The MOSC Medical College Hospital is located at Kolenchery, very near to Kochi-Madurai road NH 85, with wide campus sprawled across the scenic nlandscape. On the educational front, the hospital has access to all the clinical, pre-clinical, para-clinical, and super specialty departments.

As part of extending specialty educations in the field of para-medical sciences, the management has started the college -MOSC Institute of Allied Health Sciences in 2017. MOSC Institute of Allied Health Sciences is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur. This Institution offers a Post Graduate course in Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) to equip students to administer all activities in healthcare administration. All the students of the first batch have passed out. When the university pass percentage for the past two years is around 40%, the MOSC Institute of Allied Health Sciences had a pass percentage of 85%.

MOSCIAHS Courses

The Institution offers a Post Graduate course in Master of Hospital Administration (MHA). Details for the course are as follows:

MHA	Graduation with 50%	2 Years

Master of Hospital Administration is a 2 years full-time regular course, affiliated to KUHS (Kerala University of Health Sciences) Thrissur. The curriculum of first-year includes 7 theory papers and a project work of 15 days’ duration. Second-year includes 6 theory papers and a project work of 45 days’ duration. The projects can be done in any of the multispecialty hospitals within the country. Skill developments relevant to administration perspectives are also included in the curriculum.

Prospectus can be downloaded from the website www.mosciahs.edu.in. Applications should be only through online. All particulars in the online application form should be entered by the candidate. The name should be entered as per the SSLC / +2 certificates. Those who are awaiting the results shall enter as “RA” in the space provided for entering marks.

MOSCIAHS Scholarship

In order to financially aid the education process, economically backward students are given concessions in tuition fees. All eligible candidates have applied and availed PG scholarships from State and Central government through the institution.

MOSCIAHS Placement

The institute has a a highly dedicated and efficient placement cell that is responsible for training students professionally and conducting placement sessions. Only one batch of students has passed out so afr. They are hired by different Hospitals. MOSC Medical College has hired four of them.

The average salary package is INR 23,000 per month.
