Presidency University is top universities of India!!

Likes

BCA is as good as engineering in our college as labs and faculties stays the same.
Cleanliness at our university is such that students who do littering are fined heavily and punished as well.
Our faculties are renowned and have multiple research domains under their belt.

Dislikes

University Gates are closed during college hours and that's like too strict a rule.

Infosys, Deloitte, TCS and other who all have their Indian head quarters here are some of the companies that have seen our potential. We do their projects and have been sticked with the curriculum that is beneficial for them and that is why even BCA students are offered jobs worth 50-60k at Presidency University.

I wish I could choose a better college

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good and huge
Labs are well maintained, systems are good and updated
The cafeteria is huge and there are a lot of other places to eat as well

Dislikes

The faculties are not very good in this college, especially the way they teach
The course curriculum is not up to date and is taught what is outdated
The college is way too far away from the city making it difficult to commute

Placement Experience:

Our college is offering placements but the packages offered are very low. For example, Accenture has come for the 1st round in our college. They are offering 3 - 4 LPA for non tech roles, to tech students. And they are offering the opposite to commerce students which really does not make any sense. If I am investing my 3 years of studies into computer applications, it is not to get into any sales job or something, it is to actually apply what ive learnt and earn something out of it.

Internships Opportunities:

Regarding the Internship presently I am not having any idea. But according to online sources, they have provided some good Internships in Bangalore itself. They also provide onsite industry visits to MBA students.
