College of Art Admission Process 2025

The College of Art, Delhi follows a structured and competitive admission process for its Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) program for the 2025 academic session. All admissions are conducted online, and candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the University of Delhi. To apply, candidates must have completed their Senior School Certificate Examination (Class 12) or an equivalent 12-year course from a recognized board, typically with a minimum aggregate of 50–55%. There is a 5% concession for those who studied Fine Arts subjects like Graphic Design, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, or Applied Art in Class 12.

The admission process begins with candidates registering for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2025. Based on CUET scores, the College of Art will shortlist seven times the number of applicants per specialization and category for a practical-based entrance test held at the college campus. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on both the College of Art and University of Delhi websites; no individual notifications will be sent. . The practical test for most specializations involves object drawing with light and shade, while Art History applicants must critique visuals related to art and artists.

After the entrance test, selected candidates must undergo physical verification of original documents at the college in offline mode. Required documents include the Senior School Certificate, age certificate, category certificate (if applicable), passport-size photographs, and mark sheets for Classes 10 and 12. Applicants from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) must also provide proof of their last qualifying examination center. . Admission is finalized only after the candidate deposits the prescribed fees and charges online within the given timeframe.

How to apply for the diploma in arts and drawing??? Is there any entrance exam for that? Let me know fast I am post graduate. I have done MCA.

College of Arts Delhi University does not offer Diploma in Arts and Drawing program. The institute offers only BFA and MFA programs.
