Indian Culinary Institute (ICI) is an autonomous body under the Government of India, Ministry of Tourism. The Campus of the Institute is in Tirupati and NOIDA. It was established by the Govt. India for the purpose of running various programs in Culinary Art from the level of skills to the highest level of study on the subject and documentation as well as the preservation of various Indian cuisines.

ICI Noida offers BBA, MBA, Diploma and Craft courses in Culinary Arts.
10+2 students are eligible to apply for BBA in Culinary Arts.
Graduates in relevant disciplines are eligible to apply for MBA in Culinary Arts.
Candidates need to qualify ICI - Entrance Examination [ICI - EE].

ICI Noida offers a three years bachelor’s program in Culinary Arts. here are the major highlights of the course:

The course fee for BBA in Culinary Arts is INR 4.50 Lakh. In addition to above institute may incidental and other service charges etc. Hostel facilities for 100% Boys and Girls are available in both the campuses. Hostel fee (Including Mess Charge) INR 30000 per Semester will be charged if the facility availed.

Indian Culinary Institute Noida B.B.A. Eligibility Criteria

10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Council with a minimum of 50% in case of General and OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC and ST candidates.
Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in Entrance Examination 2021 on provisional basis.
For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01st July 2021. In the case of Scheduled Caste, PD and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is 27 years as on 01st July 2021.

Indian Culinary Institute Noida B.B.A. Selection Criteria

Admission to the first year of BBA Culinary Art program is strictly based on the All India Rank (AIR) earned by the candidate in the written test of Entrance Examination and their choice of preference of the campus.
Ranks are strictly based on the marks obtained by the candidate in written examination. No group discussion or interviews are involved.
Admission is followed by checking of eligibility of candidates, verification of documents, depositing of required fees for the first semester.

The MBA Admissions at ICI Noida is offered to students with a graduation degree. The details for program are as follows:

The course fee of MBA in Culinary Arts is INR 3.01 Lakh. Indian Culinary Institute Noida M.B.A. Eligibility Criteria

Full time bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts/Hospitality/Hotel Management (BBA in Culinary Arts, BSc. in HHA, BHM, BHMCT) from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
Only regular bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 50% in case of General and OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC and ST candidates.
Those appearing in bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts/Hospitality/Hotel Management can also appear in Entrance Examination 2021 on provisional basis.
For candidates from General and OBC categories, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.08.2021. Age relaxation of 5 will be applicable to SC/ST candidates.

Indian Culinary Institute Noida M.B.A. Selection Criteria

Admission to the first year of MBA Culinary Arts program is strictly based on the All India Rank (AIR) earned by the candidate in the written test of Entrance Examination and their choice of preference of the campus.
Ranks are strictly based on the marks obtained by the candidate in written examination. No group discussion or interviews are involved.
Admission is followed by checking of eligibility of candidates, verification of documents, depositing of required fees for the first semester.
All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

For admission in all courses, it will be merit based in the marks obtained in Class 10th / 10+2 whichever is applicable.

Indian Culinary Institute Noida Diploma And Craft course Eligibility

For Diploma courses, class XII of 10+2 system or equivalent from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject.
For Craft courses, class X of 10th system or equivalent from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject
The upper age limit is 25 years as on July 01, 2021 for all courses. For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates upper age limit is relaxable up to 3 years.

Online application link will be available, print the online application form.
Fill the application form along with photograph, other documents and application fee Demand Draft (DD in favour of ICI payable at NOIDA) should be sent to following address: In-charge Finance Officer, Indian Culinary Institute, A – 35, Sector - 62, NOIDA - 201309.
Application fee for General, EWS and OBC candidates is INR 1000 and for ST / SC / PD candidates is INR 500.

FAQs

Ques. How to prepare for ICI - EE?

Ans. The duration of ICI - EE is two hours. There will be no negative markings.

For BBA, question Paper will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi. Each correct answer under Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English Language components carry one mark.

For MBA, the question Paper will be in English. Each correct answer under Food Production / Management, Food and Beverage Service / Management, Analytical Aptitude / IQ, Human Resource and Strategic Management, Communication Skills in English carries one mark.

Ques. What are career opportunities after a degree in Culinary Arts?

Ans. The program is aimed to produce Chefs to cater hotel, hospitality and allied industry but also one can recognize himself/herself by becoming Celebrity Chef. Apart from it, one can also become an entrepreneur by setting up his/her own specialized food outlet. The ICI will arrange campus placement for its students by inviting renowned hotel, hospitality and allied industry every year. Even, ICI will assist the pass-outs for getting placement overseas.

My Life At Indian Culinary Institute NOIDA

Admission:

Eligibility for our course is 12th pass with any streams with percentage of above 70%, I have applied through the college application form from their site, there are reservations benefits I don't know about what are the benefits, the entrance exam was easy for me it was GK and some topics form NCHMCT syllabus, the website should be updated and more welcoming to new students

I am doing B.B.A (Culinary Art) in this college. The admission process takes place through online. I appeared for the entrance examination and 45 percent of the marks are required. Then we are placed through cut off marks of the entrance exam conducted. I was called by the college and a personal interview was conduct and I got place in the college.

High-tech facilities

Admission:

I got admission in this college by my 10 ,+2 marks and also entrance exam is conducted. I scored 70 % of the marks which gave me a additional tag to get selected in that college. I received a call letter from the college after few days of my entrance exam. The admission process was easy I just applied in the college online and a got the call letter within a month from the college. Then i went to college and proceed through the admission in the college.

Mastering Culinary arts

Admission:

The admission in our college is based upon the marks obtained in BBA in culinary arts and we also have to take an entrance test. Only persons who have taken a regular degree in BBA in culinary arts with 50% marks can apply for this MBA program. The entrance test was designed to test our knowledge of current affairs and English. We need to obtain an All India rank in the entrance exam to get admitted to the college. After clearing this round, I had to fill the admission form with prescribed fees and submit other documents. In this way, my admission was completed.

Journey to be a chef

Admission:

I had to complete some formalities and also had to take an entrance test to get admission in the college. They entrance test wasn't very difficult and it tested my general knowledge, English language and aptitude skills. After clearing this round, I had to fill the admission form with prescribed fees and submit other documents. In this way, my admission was completed.

My MBA journey in Indian Culinary Institution

Admission:

After completing my bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, I had applied for an admission for MBA in Culinary Arts in this college. Getting the degree from this college was my top preference since it is one of the best culinary management colleges in India. I got the admission here through an entrance exam. After the entrance exam, all the selected students were asked to come for the documentation process and then after a few days our class got started.

Indian Culinary Institute College Review

Admission:

I was always passionate about nutrition and the art of culinary so after digging deep, I came across ICI, Noida which is like 40 mins away from my home. The admission form are available on their website starting from January till April or May. Fill the details like your name, age, DOB, education qualification, etc. like every other form and submit the fee of Rupees 1000 which is obviously non-refundable. One thing about this is though there are only selected test center cities and you want to check that out first. Also, the mode of examination is written and its duration is two hours consisting of 100 questions about general awareness, analytical aptitude, quants english, etc.

My Experience at ICI

Admission:

I heard about this college through one of my friend whose cousin was also studying in its Noida campus back then. Like any other University, ICI also holds an All India Entrance Exam and the selection is solely on the merit basis. The exam is conducted in the selected cities across India and those are Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Tirupati and Thiruvananthapuram. Results are out within 45 days and on successful qualifying, you can visit the campus for getting the admission.
