Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI Chhindwara) was established in 1986, and is one of the best institutions for quality industrial education in the country. The Institute has campuses in 12 different cities in India. The Chhindwara Campus offers only Bachelors of Design in 2 specializations.

Admissions to the B.Des course is conducted through the UCEED/AIST exam.
Counselling for the applicants is conducted by FDDI only.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the B.Des course are required to meet the following criteria:

Applicants are required to have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam from any recognized Board.
Applicants who have not yet received their results are eligible to apply and can be granted provisional admission.
Applicants are also required to have a valid FDDI AIST score.
Candidates seeking applications must be maximum 25 years old.

Selection Process

Admission to B.Des course is done through a valid score in UCEED/AIST followed by a counseling round. Candidates who have UCEED scores are exempted from AIST.
- Students will also be considered on the basis of their preference. .
- Final shortlisting and merit lists would be released by FDDI on their official website.
Candidates will then go through the Counselling process conducted by the Institute.
Applicants are required to pay a fee of INR 25,000 to reserve a seat for the B.Des course at the time of Application.

There is a reservation of seats for applicants belonging to reserved categories. The bifurcation is as follows:

FDDI Chhindwara B.Des Application Process

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des course are required to follow the procedure given below:

Access the Application page by clicking on the Admissions tab
Fill in the Application Form with all the require details
Upload the required to Photos, Documents and Certificates. The following are the documents required to be submitted by applicants
Pay the Application Fee of INR 600 (General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category) and INR 300 (SC/ST/PWD Category) through Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet banking
Any alterations to the Application Form must be made before the payment of the Application Fee
Candidates are advised to save a copy of the Application Form for future reference

Ques. What is the required Eligibility for B.Des Fashion Design?

Ans. Candidates are required to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board, and should be less than 23 years of age. Also candidates must qualify for FDDI AIST entrance.
