The co-curiculum at svdu is excellent. Indoor stadium and atheltic ground abide the students to expore their sporty side as well. Several intra and inter University sports events motivate the students to maintain their fitness aswell.

Every year their cultural nights were conducted. Programs are arranged according to festivals and events. There is a reading room available on the campus which is accessible 24x7x365. There is a library that is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday. You can issue books from the library and renew them two times online. If the book is not submitted on time 10Rs. per day fine will be charged per book. the classroom is very big and there is a projector in every classroom and there are also labs in the college for the practicals. There is cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, and kho-kho, and an Indoor stadium is available where you can play the games like table tennis, chess, badminton, etc. There is a gym available here for boys and girls.

The campus is very good having a sports complex, food courts and whatnot. One can involve in many different activities and sports to keep themselves busy. Gyms are also available, there is a library with many facilities where one study and read peacefully.

Our department fest is conducted during December. We have a very exciting cultural night. We also celebrate days like back to school days, retro days etc which were conducted during February. We also have sports week during this February month.

The campus life is very exciting. Students from various regions of the country study here. The environment is healthy with no ragging inside the campus. Regular interaction with senior students and teachers take place. Cultural fests, sports competitions, and various seminars of the national level take place.
