MIDAS has a symposium called TRIKONA, which is conducted on alternative years. The college packs a 300 sq.m air-conditioned library which has almost all the books an architect could need in his academic years.
Life at the campus is liberal to great extent.
Student-friendly campus.
Great classrooms and accommodations.
Good amenities around the campus.
Proper classes according to the interests of the students.
There are lots of fests is been conducted in our college, and lot of extracurricular activities and we have lots of sports events happening between colleges. We have a vast library and also we have E-library.
We can enjoy our bachelor's life at MIDAS we have a library and good range of books are available we have sports of different kinds to participate both indoor and outdoor games good amenities are must in every class room and Midas has its standards.
In Midas, we have cultural every 1 month and we have activity time for every week which will help us to enable out our skills each classroom has all the amenities and comfortable spacing for students and faculty Midas encourages and entertains extracurricular activities for good growth of the students there are different types of clubs and each and every student can participate.
This campus is bit far from Chennai and thus becomes a huge disadvantage. But still, staying remote and isolated from harsh City traffic, helps concentrating more on designing and what we are passionate on.
The infrastructure of our college is very poor. Social infrastructure like transportation is really in a pathetic condition. The college is situated almost 30 km away from the main town known as Kalpakkam. Hence there is not adequate transportation facility to reach the college from the nearby bus stand. The infrastructure inside the college is very poor. The classrooms are separated by a cardboard partition, during the rainy season there are innumerable leakages and the campus is almost flooded. The rendered image of the campus is very misleading, so don?t fall prey. As an institution teaching architecture the availability of a printing shop is prerequisite. The printers in the shop are non-operational most of the time so the infrastructure is unimaginably poor.
