IIIT Raichur is a public technical and research university established in 2019 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and the Government of Karnataka. The university offers a four-year B.Tech program with two specializations: Computer Science and Engineering and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Admission to IIIT Raichur in the B.Tech program is based on the JEE Main cutoff, and final seat allotments are conducted through JoSAA counseling. The fee for the first year of the B.Tech program is INR 3.09 lakhs.

IIIT Raichur offers a PhD program in the fields of Communication and Computer Engineering as well as Computer Science and Engineering. Admission to the program is based on sponsorship or a national-level examination. Candidates must have more than 70% in their postgraduate program to gain admission through the sponsorship. For eligibility for BTech, the candidate must have cleared their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
They should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following-Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology in their 10+2
The candidate must score 75% aggregate in 10+2 for general category students or 65% aggregate if belonging to the reserved category.

How to Apply for IIIT Raichur?

For registration, the candidate should visit the official site of the NTA National Testing Agency.
Create a login ID and password.
Fill in all the details like name, contact number, address, date of birth, etc.
Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and the signature of the candidate and signature of father/mother or guardian.
Pay the application fee through net banking, credit card, debit card, Paytm, or UPI.
Take a printout of the application form once the entire procedure has been completed.

The candidates are selected based on their performance in the JEE Main entrance examination.

After checking the All India Rank on the NTA website, the candidate shall check their rank with the cutoff list released by the institute.
If the candidate’s rank matches the one released by the college, the candidate can register on the official website of JOSAA.

I gave JEE mains exam and through Jossa and csab i got this college based on all india rank. At that time my rank was 143500 AIR. I took admission during covid 19 so all things was online. And 3 semester completed in online mode.

Admission:

Qualification in 12th and jee mains. They maintain their own wed. Twice a month and felt very difficult. Improvement needed in course registration. No need of change in curriculum.there is no own campus right now but it is going to be done in a year.work on progress.

I was always interested in the computer science. I joined through jee main marks. I think the admission process is fine. I didn't have any kind of reservation. Maybe the remainders for each round of councelling would be given.

Unveiling the path to success: IIIT RAICHUR

Admission:

The admissions procedure at IIIT raichur was really simple. I took an admission exam, and there were clear submission rules for the online application process. The cut-off points were clear and in line with the prerequisites for the course. The college website (iiitr.ac.in) made it easy to find information on the apllication form , csts, and deadlines , which streamlined the application process. Due to the well documented benefits of reservations , everyone who are apllicable was guaranteed equal oppurtunity. Although, the procedure proved effective, it may be made even more accessible with some tweaks. Maybe more guidance or help would be helpfull for the candidates as they navigate the application process. Overall, the admission process might be made even more inclusive and user friendly with a few tweaks.
