Placement Experience:

Yes, my college has an active placement cell, which works diligently to provide students with the best of placement opportunities. Major recruiters in our college have been ICICI Bank, Wipro, Dell, Igate etc. BPO is the most common profile offered in the college, followed by Tax and audit for my course.

The placement for my department is nil but the students of my department were allowed to apply for roles such as business consultants, analyst etc. by the placement cell of the college. Corporate internships aren't provided by the placement cell but the students are given an opportunity to present a paper or project under the mentorship of professors the college.

In my senior batch 85% students were placed. Some of the frequently visited companies are Capegemini, HDB Financial Services and Paytm. The companies were divided into non-technical and core. The core companies were more related to the main courses and the not so important courses are given the non-technical companies.

The roller coaster ride at KRMMC

Placement Experience:

The placement cell actively brings job and internship opportunities for the students. In my first year, I interned with a reputed IT firm gaining tons of exposure and industry standard stipend (Rs 8000). I'll be sitting for my placements this year, which I've heard (from seniors) are pretty decent.
