Pros and cons of a bachelors degree in calcutta university

Likes

The thing which i liked the most about my college is that the professors always encouraged us students to engage in more extra curricular activities like writing an article arranging a debate competion,etc
The professors always provided us students with notes during exam time

Dislikes

I never liked the unorganised way exams were held at very short notice
I really disliked the toxic culture at the teaching department sometimes

Faculty:

There was in total 6 teachers appointed to our delartment and 25 students in my session in college.As students were less in our department there was room to ask questions freely to our professors.The proffessors really did everything they could to make us understand a topic more easily they showed us films related to the topic and some professors also explained by telling their personal life stories which was relatable to the topic.When we had any doubts we easily approached the teacher to clear a topic again face to face and they were always happy to help , I personally used to call my teachers sometimes during exams and they always showed how determined they were to make us good students.

The college is providing the necessary courses for the placements

Faculty:

the faculties are well efficient and they all are from well known universites and they all are holding p.hd degree. they help the students for their studies and teach them by best possible way. the extra classes makes the students more efficient for the exams.

Faculty:

Its decent i wont say too good its good quite satisfying than most of colleges. fees is low. so anybody can likely join and finush the graduation without any job at the same time. Reading and working at the same time is tough so our college lucked out as we did.
