The admission process for my college is governed by the Admission Regulating Authority of the State Government of Maharashtra, every year. And the candidates will be eligible as per the criteria decided by the admission authority. In all, 20% seats of the total sanctioned intake for every course are admitted by the management under institutional quota. And, the procedure for admitting the students is purely on merit basis and as prescribed in the admission brochure published every year by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
I'm studying at MIT Railway Engineering College And Research, Barshi. I don't have any quota for admission. The admission process is taken by merit list. I filled my admission form and submit it in college with all required documents like 10th/12th/Diploma marksheet, domicile certificate, etc
During the admission process, I applied to more than 10 colleges. In first-round I got some other college from Pune. But before the confirmation, my Father got to know about MAEER'S MIT COLLEGE OF RAILWAY ENGINEERING and after some research, we got to know that this is the only college of Railway Engineering in Maharashtra. And I have an interest in the Railway sector So by default I was getting specialization through this so I opted for MITCORER. The admission Process was very appropriate and up to date with guidelines provided by AICTE. The intake of the class is 60 students for these places there's a merit list. This Admission process consists of 4 cap rounds. 4th round is only considered if seats are vacant. There's no age restriction to apply for any course.
