Indian Institute of Information and Technology Allahabad was established in the year 1999 and was conferred the status of Deemed University by the Government of India in the year 2000. Department of Management Studies (DMS) IIIT Allahabad Department of Management Studies came into existence in 2004. The department offers a 2-year MBA program.
This program is the backbone to cater to the objective of the department for attaining academic excellence by horizontal & vertical growth. IIIT Allahabad offers an MBA program in 5 specializations and candidates having a bachelor’s degree can apply for the program.
Eligible aspirants are required to fill the application form by downloading the application form from the official website. The filled-in application form shall be submitted to the institute after the online payment of INR 1200.
Applicants will be screened on the basis of score in CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT entrance examination. The screening process is further followed by a Personal Interview.
The final selection will be on the basis of the collective score of both the Entrance Exam and Personal Interview.

DMS IIIT Allahabad MBA Admission 2024
IIIT Allahabad, Department of Management offers a full-time MBA program for a duration of 2 years. The program is offered in following specializations:
- Marketing
- Finance
- Operations
- Human Resources
- Information Technology.
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA (45% marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST Candidates) with Valid CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAT score.
Selection Criteria:
Admission shall be made strictly on the basis of Merit of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT score followed by Personal Interview.
The institution will conduct the personal interview of the shortlisted candidates on the basis of the entrance exam score.
The weightage assigned to both the parts of the selection procedure is as follows:

Key Notes:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 45% at graduate level equivalent CGPA.
- Personal Interview would be held at IIIT-Allahabad, New Delhi and Kolkata. IIIT-A reserves the right to add/delete/modify any venue.

- Candidates seeking admission to MBA program of IIT Allahabad Department of Management are advised to download brochure form the official website of the university and confirm his/her eligibility.
- The application form for the institute can be filled online after payment of INR 1200 (for candidates belonging to General & OBC category) or INR 600(for SC/ST/PH candidates).
- Applications are subject to screening and shortlisting. While intimation to all screened candidates for the same shall be sent by Email/post/courier.
- List of all the screened candidates will be available on the official website of the University once the whole process is completed, hence candidates are advised to visit the website of the university frequently.
