Ques. Is GCRG GNM approved by the Indian Nursing Council?
Ans. Yes, the GNM programme at GCRG Group of Institutions, Lucknow, is approved by the Indian Nursing Council and regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council. This approval allows graduates to register as General Nurse and Midwife with the state nursing council and work legally in government and private hospitals across Uttar Pradesh and other states.

Ans. The total tuition fee for the three-year GNM programme at GCRG is INR 3,30,000, payable at INR 1,10,000 per year. Hostel accommodation is available at additional and optional cost. Students from SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories may apply for UP Post-Matric Scholarship and NSP schemes to partially offset the annual fee.
Ques. Which entrance exam is required for GNM admission at GCRG?
Ans. All GNM admissions at private nursing institutions in Uttar Pradesh, including GCRG, are through UPGET conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University. UPGET 2026 was held on June 16, 2026, with results declared on June 20, 2026. Counselling rounds were conducted in late June and early July 2026 for seat allotment across nursing colleges.
Ques. What is the eligibility for GNM admission at GCRG Lucknow?
Ans. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board including State Open School or NIOS with a minimum of 40 percent marks in the qualifying examination. English must have been passed individually in 10+2. The minimum age at admission is 17 years as on or before 31 December of the admission year.
