Woxsen School of Arts and Design is a design college located in the city of Hyderabad. According to NIRF, Woxsen School of Arts and Design ranks among Top 25 Colleges for Design. The Education Post the institute ranks #3 at all India level for Top Private Design Institute. The college offers a four-year bachelor’s course in Design in 4 specializations of Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Communication Design, Interior Design. The institute also offers a full-time and part-time PhD program.

For B.Des, the candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks.
Admissions to the B.Des program is done on the basis of the Woxsen Design Test (WDT) followed by PI.
For admission to PhD program, the candidates must have completed their Masters with 55% aggregate marks.
Candidates must have obtained a valid score in Woxsen Research Entrance Test (WRET) or UGC-NET (including JRF)/ CSIR/ ICMR/ GATE.

For admission in the Bachelor of Design, the candidate needs to fulfill certain basic requirements to enable them to take up the course. Following is the eligibility criteria to apply for the course-

The institute also offers PhD program in four specializations. The candidates who have passed their Master’s degree are eligible to apply for admission. The candidates will be selected on the basis of valid marks scored in the Woxsen Research Entrance Test (WRET) conducted by the institute followed by a Personal Interview Round.

The Admission process for Ph.D. (Full-Time/ Executive) program at Woxsen is a 2 Step structured process. Students are evaluated basis their Composite Score, as mentioned below

Life at Woxsen

Admission:

Earlier I applied to UPES, but the fees there had an annual increase, which made me change my decision, and later as I found woxsen, the fees here stays the same for all the four years, I chose to study here. Also the infrastructure here looks really great giving the vibes of that "campus". Also the admission process was quite smooth, Gave an entrance exam, then had an interview, got selected, also got a 20% scholarship in the total fees, so it just wasn't easy... The design department here is really good in most of the aspects, as it is also ranked 2nd in the nation, it just makes sense. Thus, I chose this one, do I have regrets? Not really, a bit yeah because of the amount of restrictions and the distance from the city, and food expense within the campus (cafeteria) other than that, it's good.

Admission:

I did apply to many colleges some i couldn't get into and the others had there pros and cons that made me back off The colleges i got into were situer far from home or they dont have good reviews The colleges that i couldn't get in was mostly cos i want not eligible with the tests And most of the time the desing colleges didnt have enough space for interior design or there was no interior design only Which made it hard to gef into a college with the course i want

Admission:

I applied for shristhi Manipal banglore too , I got into both the universities the admission process for Woxsen is very simple , they will take into consideration of your other design tests if you took any or else the university has its own design test called WDT I would say it tough but if you focus enough you can get accepted very easily , building a school portfolio is very important too

Admission:

Go to the Woxsen site, fill in the details, and staff from the college will call you and give the details regarding the college, if interested they'll ask you to pay the entrance exam fee and then you are asked to attend the entrance exam. After you clear your exam based on grading you get scholarships and later you can confirm your seat by paying fees

Life of a student in review

Admission:

The admission required a minimum of 75% in 12th grade for eligibility, a general aptitude exam, a skill-oriented exam, a personal interview, and a portfolio created on the given themes by the university. The application form is found on the woxsen official website along with the exam dates. There are no reservation benefits of my idea as I haven't availed any.
