There is no separate name for the annual fest. Sometimes the college host a tech fest every two to three years. The availability of books and journals in the library is good quality and good author. The amenities in classrooms is good.

Since it's a distant school I dont know much about the extra activities held. Gender ratio is almost the same for boys and girls. Overall it goes good and obviously is very different from normal college life.

The university has mutiple hostels for both boys and girls. The university has separate hostel for postgraduate and doctorate course students. The hostel rooms are quite comfortable. The hostel also has an auditorium and an ATM nearby. Wifi facility is also provided to hostel students.
