First semester onwards. Companies visited Asian paints, live space, homelane, etc. Offered at live space. The highest package for freshers is 24000 take home while experienced people generally draw 30-40. About 85-90% are getting placements. After getting the degree I've planned to do an internship after which I'll look for a job. Later in the future, I'll start my own interior design company.
The jobs were arranged at the end of last year with various companies and brands came to interview us and the selection was on the basis of academic performance and the practical project work. Teachers recommendation letters also used to play a role in selecting the students. Brands like a great son, Raymond, Gauri Khan came to interview. 80% of the students used to get selected through the campus with an average package of Rs.8 to 10 lakhs per annum.
Inifd provides an internship last year. But you also applied in 2 years if you are capable. They provide internship, not all students. The capable students are provided internship. Apart all students go and search for an internship. Inifd collaboration many famous designers so they all come and offered an internship, incapable students.
Top roles offered to the students are designer, VC and a store manager of reputed brands and designers boutiques. The college provides internships and industrial visits. We have the highest stipends during the various internships.The roles that the students were given were in the designing field and retail merchandising.
Placement cell is not yet established in our campus however we can always work hard to level up ourselves, our faculties have always guided us in such situations. Our curriculum focuses more on enhancement of our skills and having our own startups.
They provide placements whenever you want, whether intership or after the year gets end. One can try placements in various brands, companies and designers according to thier portfolio and potential and also the work done earlier
The placement opportunities were really productive. I got a styling/content creation internship after in month of graduating. The faculty guided us with our CVs. Most of my batchmates, including me, started working on their own fashion brands.
Since this was a certification degree but some placements were arranged at the college campus. Various fashion brands like Only, Da Milano, guess came to interview and the selection was on the basis of self merit and personal performance. The average package cost Rs.5 lakhs per annum and 80% of the students used to get placed from the college campus.
College positions undoubtedly weren't incredible. Getting an allowance is extreme, considering the field is such. Working under Beauticians, workmanship chiefs, or picture takers doesn't pay a lot. The temporary jobs go from free to fifteen thousand per month. One entry level position is necessary after the third year.
Student pursuing fashion designing from this college worry about the placements because it is a very famous college in the fashion world so you get placement very easy easy and student may start there own boutique or be fashion stylist or a merchandiser.
