The campus is very good. The infrastructure is good enough according to the location where it is situated. The campus is well maintained and eco friendly. They maintain neat and clean in the campus. Overall the campus environment is very good
The second thing which I like is the management. The managing staff are very good. They listen to the students. Every student who has any kind of concern they co-operate with the student.
Teachers are also excellent. Teaching staff are very supportive towards students

Dislikes

They conduct exams without providing sufficient time to the students for preparation
Some students are very mischievous. They don't obey college rules
Classrooms are a Little old. They need to be modified

Since my childhood I have a inclination towards maths. I liked math very much. I love to solve questions. This was the reason I chose this course. Teachers need to take some steps for effective study.

Likes

The teaching style of every teachers is awesome. They thought us like the faculty of private colleges.
The college campus is massive. So for management of the college a bit loose.

Dislikes

Only one thing I don't like is the cleanliness of the campus.
There are sports complex but din't provide any gym facility

Course Curriculum Overview:

The lab of the physics department was nicely arranged and we can get chances to conduct practical easily and the lab assistance teacher was nicely described the process and helping us to get the readings. The class rooms are too calm and silent which gives your soul a refreshment.

Nothing is to be disliked or disappointing about it

Placement Experience:

After completing 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements . TCS ,accenture and more other companies visited . The highest package are 10 lakhs per annum and average is 6 lakh. Students who score more than 75 percent eligible of campus selection

Vikram Dev University: my dream college

Our college is recognised as one of the best college in our own and neighbouring districts. Last year it was re-establish as Vikram Dev University by chief minister of Odisha Shri Naveen Patnaik(now former chief minister).
School campus is large. It is 26 acres big as mentioned. Each and every department have their separate buildings. Ncc and sports facilities are also available at this college.
College environment is very good. Annual sports and functions are held every year and live events are also been hosted many times.

Dislikes

Buildings are too old. As generation z we expect to study in Modern classes with smart boards, wifi, computers etc. there are many smart rooms in the college. But the building where our physics department exist don't have smart rooms or smart boards.
As our department didn't have smart rooms and smart boards, we aren't able to study and understand the concepts easily as physics is a kind of subject which must have to be taught through smart screens and modern equipments.
There are too many guest faculties. There's no doubt that they have good quality of teaching but it will be better if our college will hire permanent and experienced teachers and lecturers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Physics is based on the phenomenon that how the world works or move. I want to learn more about the surroundings that how things happened, how the bird flies, how the wheel moves. Based on this interest I choosed this course. In my opinion there should be more practical exams rather than theory exams on this subject and it should be better if the lecturers will use smart boards to teach the students to make them to understand the concepts easily. We are allowed to give exams with 1 hours(mid semester), 3 hours(end semester) and 3 hours( practical exams) which is in my opinion perfect time to solve answers.

Very good college according to my opinion

Likes

Actually there was good facilities about sports and any other circular activities like ncc training was also very good
The faculties also very good and very helpful staff they support for any type activities like studying playing
All the tracking and non teaching staff were very friendly nature they give any type of permission also

Dislikes

The security was tight during the night time they will not allowed to go out side after the 9 o clock
The play ground was filled with a lot of player at a time of 5 minutes late then u cannot get a seat for play that was bad
Now on teaching staff they will give more and more home work assignment project etc.

Placement Experience:

Basically the become the university is a autonomous college now that is appellated University so there is many kind of opportunity to provide placements to student and campus placement there is every year chances to be selected as a employee from any department of the college like mathematics chemistry and also commerce student they will get opportunity to placement by recurring like vedanto Wipro et cetera

Vikram dev a nice experience

The college faculty is very good and highly qualified
College functions are very well conducted and enjoyable
Good infrastructure with a wide number of books available at the library

Dislikes

No campus employment or placement are available
No good food at the hostels and some are very much repeatative
The cleaning staff behaviour is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason because I choosed this course because i feel this field has more scope in future and the college faculty is highly qualified and they are very much inspiring and well behaved with the students and the semesters and unit tests conducted are moderate and you can pass them by studying in a normal time period

I choose this because it's realistic and can be evaluated through daily processes faculty is about 1:20 and qualifications are adequate there are mid sems and semester exams take place and by studying properly we can pass the exam

Honest unpolished review on vikram dev autonomous college

Likes

The library is the best thing in the campus.
The class rooms are decent but can be improved
The campus is big, there's a field as well.

Dislikes

The faculty is not so qualified and unpolished.
The teaching system needs to be improved. Teachers should not discuss their personal affairs in the class.
The washroom, bathroom, toilets are uncleaned and can give any one infection

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BSc physics to pursue a profession in it. The faculty is not sufficient according to the student number. Some of the guest faculty are not so qualified to teach BSC or PG students. Some of them are just BSC or PG graduates without even a BEd degree. As the faculty is not so qualified or experienced the teaching quality is questionable. The exams are timed correctly.
