Applicants must score at least 75% in their Higher Secondary exams and the subject they wish to pursue to be eligible for admission. The admission process includes an entrance exam, with the final score combining both entrance and 12th-grade results, from which merit and waiting lists are generated. Successful candidates attend counseling and pay an admission fee of Rs 23,000. The annual fee for the next two years is Rs 12,500, with a monthly charge of Rs 2,700 covering hostel, meals, and tuition, of which only Rs 111 is for tuition.
The college offers B.Sc., B.A., M.Sc., and M.A. degrees, focusing more on higher education than immediate job placement. Although there's no dedicated placement cell, collaborations with companies like L&T and TCS for counseling, and partnerships with Internshala for internships, exist. Companies like PWC, ACC Cement, and HSBC Bank visit for placements, but further studies are prioritized. Financial support, including full fee concessions, is available for needy and meritorious students. Several government scholarships, such as the SVMCM and INSPIRE, are available to economically weaker students, potentially covering 100% of fees.
Admission fees are around Rs 35,000, with monthly expenses approximately Rs 5,000 and hostel charges Rs 4,000. Paid extracurricular courses in languages like Hindi, English, and German are offered. Despite the lack of a dedicated placement cell, the total study cost is low, offering quality education, with mandatory internships in the sixth semester and optional campus placements.
