The life of a college student

Likes

Friendly teachers and good friends and good classroom
Teachers are very friendly with students
There is a nice Auditorium with full AC and very cleaned Hall

Dislikes

Ground is smaller and only there is a basketball court
The toilets are uncleaned and very bad smell
Breakfast time is too less and no free period

Course Curriculum Overview:

I decided to choose the course for becoming a software developer in IT field and in the college there is a placement opportunity for all the students who are selected to the interview and well performed in the interview

LIFE OF COLLEGE STUDENT

Likes

I like the teaching style of the teachers.
Also like the staffs behaviour in the office
Likes the food quality of the canteen,Food is good

Dislikes

Events of the college is very boring, funds are very limited.
Teachers of the college have ego issues,from different departments
Parking in the college is only for bikes,no cars are allowed and no parking space for them

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the B.Com course is 3 years in India, divided into six distinct semesters. The B.Com courses list includes Marketing, accounting, entrepreneurship, various taxation and industrial laws etc. B.Com(Hons.) is a route for the Commerce students of 10+2 to join the band of commerce professionals.

A Transformative Experience: My Insightful Review of Chinmaya College Tripunithura

Likes

Faculty support was there in curricular activities. Portions were taken on time.
Non curricular activities were there, students would coordinate equally during any programs.

Dislikes

Campus is very small. There is no college vibes in there. Only good for academics.
Teachers are changed in between semesters, some are not even good at their subjects.

Placement Experience:

In most of the colleges (including ours), students are eligible for placements when they are in final years. For bcom students in our college we get placement training in 6th semester and placement drives are conducted before completion of the course. In our college, companies like EY, Deloitte, Sutherland are main placement companies. They give us minimum ?15000 to ?25000 as basic salary package for freshers. Highest salary package is ?30000 given by them to freshers.

The Review of My College

Likes

The teachers here are very supportive and helps us very much for our further studies and gave us revision classes from time to time
The classes are really enjoyable and fun to attend and we can get to know other people from other courses too

Dislikes

Things i disliked about this college is that the compound of the college is so small that we cant even go anywhere inside the college

I don't rate my course as it was not my decision to take this course. It was my family members and my relatives who told me to take this course . If i could rate it i'd say it is very good course. But with the graduation of this course you need to study higher or else you will be stuck at this level

Why you should be careful with everything in your life as it can lead to your destruction, quickly

Likes

The teachers are quite frankly nice and accessible to ask for anything.
The students from other departments are nice.
The events are something to look forward to.

Dislikes

Library. Awful place with dusty books and not much books to be interested on.
Stone laid walkway. Hard to walk upon when we reach the college.
Security guards. A bit rude as they dont understand some students frustration.

Placement Experience:

We get placements from college and an Internship. These are really helpful for the students who are trying to understand the work environment they're going to be stuck in for the rest of their life. My plan after college is to travel the world for a year before working, for the rest of my life.

One of the best college

Likes

I like in this college was about the faculties behaviour
Teaching is soo superb and they made a good effort to teach us
The sports of the college was amazing all are getting a better experience

Dislikes

I dislike about the collage was they are not enough space in collge
There is no events we compare to another college

Placement Experience:

The semester students become eligible for campus placements in last year the popular companies are visited and the percentage of students getting placements are above 85% more my plans are better the degree was to do pg in bca

Likes

The faculty of the college was supportive.
They conduct several programs to entertain the students.
They will provide their supports in every exams to make the students confident.

Dislikes

The campus was small so the sports day will not conduct in the college

Placement Experience:

The Placements will start form the 5th or 6th semester. Several companies will come and they will provide the cut off that will be any percentage or mark. Every companies provide there own list in the placement. My plan is to get a job after degree.

CHINMAYA COLLEGE LIFE EXPERIENCE

Likes

arts , sports , faculties , students , IV were good
there is higher chance of getting the placement
the faculties are very good and they support students till the end

Dislikes

campus doesn't provide any hostel for students
no campus life , only few events were conducted in our college
there is no proper auditorium for bigger events to take place `

Placement Experience:

from the last year campus is giving continuous placement drives and webinars on improvising ourself and preparing us for interviews there were many companies like sutherland , wipro , tcs , infosys and the average salary was 2-2.5 lakh per year the higest package offered was 35k per month and it was for full stack webdeveloper 80 percent of students were placed at different companies after getting the degree i took a 6 months coueese on mearn stack and along with that i got placed on sutherland

My life in Chinmaya

Likes

Teachers genuinely care about every student.
Very inclusive environment and people overall

Dislikes

Small campus there were not many grounds or courts to play

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is educated and professional. They have been really supportive. There are about 10-15 teachers in my department. Talking about the exam we have 2 mid sems and 1 end sem exam every semester which is easy to pass. There are projects and assignments too.
