- Applications are invited from both male and female candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal, or any equivalent examination of recognized Board or University as approved by the MAKAUT ( formerly WBUT)
- All the candidates seeking admission into the Institute are required to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the W.B. Board of Examinations and recommended by the Central Selection Committee.

We used to pay fee in semester basis and each semester the fee was 0k-2k more than previous semester.
Tuition fee, registration fee was around 70k-80k one time during addmission.
The same amount was for mybother batchmates and other departments.
There was a scholarship available named Vivekanand, but I didn't avail it.

Year wise I paid 1lakh, 50k per sem, no we don't have other fees for tuition, lab, caution, registration, admission fees. and if you have marks 75% above in diploma or 12th then you get 50k discount on your total fees.
We all have same fees structure, but I guess now the fees structure has changed cause now fit is the part of techno India..
College help to get scholarship like svmcm and other scholarship.

Fees are around 50000 per semester. This includes only Tuition fees.
Swami Vivekananda scholarship is provided to students with 60% and above marks in their 10+2 level. This provides the students with a sum of around 3 lac rupees.

Total Fees = 384700, the college provides SVMCM and other scholarships. Financial assistance is also provided by the college. College provides on-campus placement and stipend. Rare fees hike policy is noticed.

In four years the cost is 3lakh84 thousand. SVMCM scholarship is available other scholarships are also available. College provides jobs to Stephen. The financial assistance facility is also facilitated by the college.

FIT follows a strict fee structure that will be pre-disclosed when taking admission. More or less, the cost to study falls at about 4-4.5 lakh for a 4year course. Other than that, I don't think there is any policy regarding fee hikes.
Our college does helps students apply for various scholarships that are either offered by trusts or by the state government. If eligible, students do get scholarships.
Regarding job, our placement cell does a decent job by bringing various MNC companies and other startups for on-campus jobs.

Companies like CTS, Wipro, virtusa, and many other companies offered internships along with job opportunities for students in recent year and the internships is related to their course only which the students are pursuing.

The fees in this college are slightly lower than the other in kolkata. It costs me almost around 5L for 4years. There is no such scholarship by the college but they consider any other private or government scholarships. Also if you are from WB Board all kind of gov scholarships are considered here. Student Credit Card facility is also available. My seniors have got paid internship from the college.

They don't increase fees very often,semister fees vary from 40000 to 45000. I applied for some scholarships like post-matric, swami Vivekanand, merit cum but I didn't have any one of these. I got a fee concession from my own college which waived 25% of my college fees. I got a job in TCS in the final year of my degree with an annual package of 2.64 lacs.
