All about GMC gondia

Likes

This college is slightly older than any other peripheral medical colleges in Maharashtra.
This college has good teachers who teach really well.
This college has direct connectivity with big cities like Mumbai via train buses and aeroplane.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of college is not very good.
Lecture hall is big but it has lots of pillars in lecture hall which is very bad.
And the lecture has need much improvement like mic,benches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The new curriculum of mbbs which is comprehensive based curriculum for mbbs is very good in which we have teached clinical questions and cases from 1st yr only which give us idea what is the actual thing of mbbs. Exams are taken in every gap of 3 month in this college.

Protection and hostel faacilities as well as the faculty listens to the student demands
We have all inclusive fests where we can participate in organising as well
We are helped in every possible way by seniors be in buying books or uniform

Dislikes

Management during admission was very messy and unorganised
Seats in anatomy hall are not up to mark
Biochemistry faculty could be better in terms of teaching

I chose this course because this course helps me understand the intricacies of human life and its value of it. The course is beautifully designed however it is expected that one needs to self-study in order to pass the examination, there is no spoon-feeding in lectures at all. There is no campus to the college as it is new

Being a doctor is a very noble profession. There are 150 students in each batch. The faculty member is the working doctors in the same department. There are at least 5 professors in each department. The exam is yearly and very stressful. The exam is set very difficult.

I liked mainly the hostel here, they provide 2-3 BHK flats for boys /girls.
Then there is the faculty members who are always there to solve your queries
Events organised like sports events are my favourite.

Dislikes

The college building and hospital building are not seperate
The college does not have its own canteen / Mess.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It has been my childhood dream to be a doctor hence the MBBS course I choose. The faculty of GMC GONDIA are all MD/MS with excellent teaching skills and vast knowledge. The faculty-student ratio must be around 1:10. Exams are yearly and students have to score 50% of marks for passing
