GDC Amritsar

Likes

Hospital is quite good. Patient flow is high at hospital.

Dislikes

Hostels are not too good. Building is old.

Admission:

GDC Amritsar was the first choice while filling in Punjab. This was because the distance of college from the home was not much. I also chose GDC because this college has separate hospitals for dentistry. This proviedes skill development for the future.

The teaching staff is so good and they teach with all the efforts
The hospital is so clean and well furnished
MDS teachers, are so helpful and kind .

Dislikes

There is nothing in our college which being disliked

Admission:

I have chosen this college over another because this college is the oldest dental college in punjab . Well in punjab their is only two government dental colleges but our college is best in terms of number of departments.

Likes

Hospital infrastructure is very top notch.
Patient flow is very high. Everyday 200-250 patient visit the hospital
Seniors are very supportive. Helps in every situation.

Dislikes

Hostels are not very good. Buildings are old.

Admission:

I applied for many colleges but GDC was my first choice in Punjab. This is because this college has separate hospital for dentistry. This provided good exposure with patients for the students . This helps to enhance the skill which is very important for a dentist.

The patient flow is great which helps the students in learning different cases
Provides good opportunities for learning to undergrad students
Various academic opportunities are available

Dislikes

The infrastructure can be improved since its an old college
Extracurricular activities should be held more often
The campus is small and not much sports facilities are available to students

Admission:

• I applied to other colleges in gujrat and rajasthan couldn't get them due to high cutoff. Got admission in jaipur but left it due to poor infrastructure and patient flow •yes i did get rejected from other colleges due to high cutoff that year •neet ug is held every yr for admission in mbbs bds and nursing colleges it is a nationwide exam The admission process was quite smooth

Likes

The college has good patient rush compared to many others
Everybody at the college is very warm and welcoming
There is strict prohibition for ragging in and outside the campus

Dislikes

College campus is a bit small in comparison
It is pretty exhausting in terms of work
Lesser amount of events happening in college

Admission:

This college is in a city closer to me which makes it convenient for me to be here also the area is pretty good to be in there is everything at your convinience. You get admission through neet examination and their counselling only

I like that my college provides so much exposure to the students in lab
We also handle patients from the 3 year itself
The faculty teaches so well and they are always ready to help
