Internship within the same hospital is there. Stipend is approximately 7-8K per month which is quite low.
All the departments are there and you get to work in all of it in the time period of one year.
One year internship is to be done in the college's hospital.
Rs. 7200 is given as a stipend each month.
Total of 15 casual leaves are availed during the internship period.
No vehicle is allowed for students during the internship.
As the patient count is high, so students get good clinical exposure and a lot learn.
After the course of mbbs internship gets started of 1 year
Due to good patient load , interns learn a lot and gain good amount of knowledge from respective residents and doctors
Stipend is less as compared to government colleges with merely 7000-8000 per month which may increase in future
A mandatory Internship of 1 year is provided in the college itself. After the internship of 365 days, you get your security money back. If you are not willing to do an internship you lose your security money and you have to deposit some extra money into the college.
Its a medical college there are no jobs offered here. Here you have to complete your course and then internship after that give exit exam and get the mbbs degree and start preparing to go for specialization
Well when we'll complete our 4 years of mbbs nd get into internship we would be provided 6000 rupees monthly as we will have to work in hospital nd deal with patients in our process of internship so the fifth year would be fully dedicated to practical knowledge
Since it's a medical college there is no need to think about placements. All the students someday come out as a doctor and know what they are doing with their lives so there's no need to think for placements
There is no such thing in mbbs, students have to go through another competition exam (NEET-PG) for further studies. I think this college has not a very good record in this field. However this college provides you enough opportunities to participate in ICMR events where you can research about any topic you feel comfortable with. The faculty members also help you with this. Many of my batchmates(1st year) got approved by ICMR.
