Not a great college

Likes

They take care of each student and maintain their charecter inside the campus
The infrastructure is quiet interesting and its a small college
Every faculties are easily approachable and kind to wards the students

Dislikes

Classes will not proper for the students. They will be casually roaming out the campus so easily
Labs does not have enough materials for students to do the practical

Admission:

Im not satisfied with this college and as my marks were not okay since i joined this college. Or else i would have not came here. Anna university counselling happens yearly and we can apply and if the allotted college has this name. You can come with your certificates and the allotment copy to mark your admission

Life of a student in Heaven

Likes

The Environment of GCES is awesome and the administration build the hostel for girls and boys too. The hostel facilities are too good and I think there are no more hostel like GCES hostel.
The faculties in GCES from all departments are more friendly with students to clear their doubts related to subjects and the faculties developing the practical knowledge to their students.
GCES conducts National level technical symposium for every departments to develop the students's technical skills and the college management gives the importance for sports too and also conducts the sports day for every year.

Dislikes

In my view , I dislikes the college in rainy days because there are more water are stays nearby the college l surroundings

Admission:

Eligibility to get into the college is HSC-2nd year pass ( 12th pass) and if u want to get into the college, u need to come only via TNEA councelling of several rounds ,other else u didn't able to get this college . The frequency of exam is gap between 2-4 weeks

I like the faculty of my dept and the atmosphere there and the classes and the efforts staffs put
I like my friends in the college and the senior and the juniors and mechanical dept very much
My college have special offer call forge course and i like that very much

Dislikes

I don't like the ventilation there and the area
I don't like other department staffs and the area
Cultural and other activities are not conducted

I gone through counselling process it was called TNEA counselling tamil nadu engineering admission with 70 cutoff and selected in second round and I didn't have problem in counseling method but the counselling time was too long that should be changed

Honest review of GCE srirangam

Likes

I like the campus infrastructure and facilities offered the college
Best faculties with extra effort to teach students
In hostel Allocation of 3to 4 students in one room is very comfortable

Admission:

Admission process in this college is direct counseling in Anna University Chennai.Here management quota not possible because this is under the government control. And also there is no entrance exam at all.Admission process in this college is purely based on your 12th engineering cutoff mark.In 2015 my engineering cutoff mark was 188.5.Myself selected electrical and electronics engineering in counseling conducted in Chennai Anna University.After select my course allotment letter was given to me. Now a days counselling process are online basis which is different from my admission process. Later I receive one postal letter from my selected college.In that they invited me to admission. They asked to bring the original and photocopy of 10 th,12th marksheet, community certificate, income certificate, native certificate, passport size photo, Allotment letter, postal letter.checking my certificates carefully they approved me to join the course.they also provided hostel facilities.

It's in the online counseling mode for admission. so many profits are there in the college. and there are a variety of benefits with placement and having a better campus. and most of the students are selected in campus interviews.

Admission:

I applied for anna university, Karaikudi as my cutoff was low I didn't get a seat in that college. There is no specific age for enrolling in college GCES. If you decided to join, you can easily get the seat as every cutoff were taken into enrollment.

Admission:

I secured admission in the college through TNEA. It is basically a counselling that allots us a rank and we can apply for different colleges through it. I was very interested in programming and I took up CSE.

Admission:

Admission is through the TNEA coubselling . It is based on 12th grade Marks in board exams. It is based on a common rank list . We have to register online and verify the documents in a centre. After that we are alotted a rank based on which we can apply to different colleges.
