Admission to the college requires an EAMCET rank of around 5000 or better, with merit being the primary selection criterion. The college boasts a strong faculty, with many professors holding Ph.D. degrees and an average age of 45. The student-to-permanent faculty ratio is 1:50, improved to 1:20 with teaching consultants. The curriculum is semester-based, with no supplementary exams. Fees are generally covered by government scholarships, but hostel and exam fees are separate.
