Admission to VIET is simple as applications are submitted online through the college website or via examination portals. The following outlines the process for granting admission into the VIET Visakhapatnam B.Tech and other programs to ensure ease of access.

1. Registration for Entrance Examination: Enrollment in AP EAMCET (B.Tech), AP ICET (MBA), AP PGECET/GATE (M.Tech) or AP POLYCET (for Diploma) can be done on the specific portals. The application fee ranges from INR 500 to INR 1,500. After booking, the students are to clear the entrance examination using the qualifying mark, which, for example, the 2023 B.Tech CSE cutoff marked 126,692 (AP EAMCET).
2. Applying to VIET: Log on to the website http://www.vietvsp.com/admissions.html, click “Apply Now”, fill out the form along with details such as Name, email, Aadhaar ID, and marks.
3. Document Upload: Upload the 10th/12th mark sheet along with the entrance examination scorecard. Ensure that the documents are in PDF format and less than 2 MB.
4. Pay Application Fee: Allocate an amount of INR 500 through online means such as UPI or net banking. Other applicants under the Management quota might need to pay an additional fee per applicant.
5. Counseling: Counseling of applicants can only register for UGs for JoSAA (B.Tech), AP ICET(MBA), or Advanced PGECET/COAP (M.Tech) after approval, where again, VIET has to be declared as a preferred choice.
6. Verification of the documents: After the allotment of seats, qualifying the candidate is required to visit the “Narava” campus of VIET for verification of the documents where the student had to take the originals and photocopies.
7. Fee Payment: After paying the fee for the first year, which is around INR 35,000 for B. Tech, the student can confirm the admission.
