The course has several notable aspects, though communication between students and teachers is a concern, as no faculty member stands out. The exam process is criticized for poor evaluation by Kurukshetra University, which is accused of failing students for revenue through revaluation and rechecking, and results are often delayed. Campus placements begin in the 5th semester with companies like Tata Steel, Parle Agro, Max Life Insurance, and Kotak Mahindra Bank participating.
About 10% of students get direct placements, with the highest package being 10 lakhs per annum from IBM, and the average package around 6 lakhs per annum. The fee structure is affordable, especially for the B.Com in Tourism course, costing approximately 25,000 for three years, or about 8,000 per year. The B.Com General course is even cheaper, with an annual fee of around 8,000. Reserved category students enjoy a 50% fee concession.
Although there are no scholarships, work opportunities are available for students to earn part of their fees, such as assisting staff and serving as inspection teachers during exams, for which they earn 500 per session.
